The first multipurpose hiller/furrower designed for an interchangeable garden tool system! Made from quality 12-gauge stainless-steel to resist corrosion. Patent pending design. Handle required, sold separately (see #6785).
Uses:
- Sow large-seeded crops (beans, peas, sunflowers)
- Plant or “touch up” Paper Chain Pots used with the Paperpot Transplanter
- Plant flower bulbs, garlic, onion sets
- Gently hill (cultivate) young root crops (beets, carrots, onion)
- Side dress with granular fertilizers
To use for seeding/planting:
Cut a trench in the soil using the angled opening blade. Flip it over to fill in the furrow using the contoured closing blades.
Specs:
- Closing blades are 4 3/4″ H x 5 3/4″ L, and spaced approximately 2 1/2″ apart (in the front) and 6 3/4″ apart (in the back).
- Opening blade is 1 1/4″ W x 2″ L.
